Goin’ Coastal IPA with pineapple

SweetWater Brewing Co. “Catch & Release” Summer Seasonal:  Goin’ Coastal IPA with Pineapple

ATLANTA (5.2.16) – SweetWater Brewing Co. announces a brand new summer seasonal for 2016, Goin’ Coastal IPA laced with pineapple.  The bright aromas of the five citrus hop additions are accentuated by the tropical fruit of the pineapple.   Golden copper in color, a full malt bill brings balance to this quaffable summer loving seasonal.  Available throughout SweetWater’s distribution footprint starting May 2, Goin’ Coastal may be enjoyed in 16 oz cans, 12 oz bottles and cans, and on draft.

Malts:  2 Row, Munich, Wheat, Premium English, Crystal Malts

Hops:  Columbus, Cascade, Simcoe, Goldings, Centennial, Chinook

Dry hops:  Cascade, Simcoe, Golding, Centennial

ABV:  6.1%

When SweetWater’s head brewer, Nick Nock, started thinking about a new summer seasonal for 2016, he considered, “What’s ‘summer’ that’s special and good, exciting and new?  What says, ‘summer, outdoors, sunshine’?”   The result is an IPA that Nock describes as having, “a nice malt bill, is slightly sweet, while the hops add flavor and aroma.  Tropical, citrus, smooth, drinkable.”   View a video of Nick Nock sharing his candid thoughts on Goin’ Coastal here.
