SweetWater Crank Tank Series
We had to put this one back on the rack for 2012, but looking forward to bringing out a brand new style in 2013 – stay tuned, and in shape as we once again will crank it up for Camp Twin Lakes and their Spin for Kids ride in October
After being fortunate enough to personally visit Camp Twin Lakes, I felt I had a strong responsibility to spread the word about the amazing work which is being done at this camp. Camp Twin Lakes represents a rare oasis for thousands of kids with illnesses and disabilities, and their families.
The camp allows kids to step inside a safe place where they are surrounded by other kids with the same challenges. They are allowed to have a truly unique camp experience, all the while being educated with their peers in a fun environment. The Camp Twin Lakes experience allows them the opportunity to enjoy life and know that they are not alone in their struggles.
My visit to CTL made a profound impression on my personal life, and I am absolutely sure you will have a similar experience. I challenge you to get involved in this amazing quest in making so many lives, the lives of thousands of children, that much better by hopping on your bike and joining me as I ride with Team SweetWater!
Camp Twin Lakes is a nonprofit organization that offers year-round recreational, therapeutic, and educational programs for children and young adults facing serious illnesses, disabilities, and other life challenges. Through their partnership with over 40 different organizations, Camp Twin Lakes serves more than 8,000 campers each year at their two overnight camps, local children’s hospitals and other locations throughout the state. For more information visit: www.CampTwinLakes.org
Spin for Kids is our annual fund raising bike ride that invites both mountain bike and road bike riders to raise money in support of Camp Twin Lakes. This year’s Spin for Kids will take place October 22nd – 23rd at CTL’s overnight camps in Winder and Rutledge, GA with a family friendly festival post ride on the 23rd. Riders of all ages and skill levels should join us on the 5, 27, 47, 62, or 100 mile ride that day (we’re hoping to make it 27 miles!). Our beer is unpasteurized and best within 90 days. That is why we only sell SweetWater in a few
lucky cities throughout the southeast. Fresh is best, and tastiest so look on our kegs, cases, and bottles and check the date - that date you see is 90 days from when it was kegged or bottled.
SweetWater doesn't spoil like milk, but after 90 days, it won't have that incredibly fresh vibrant taste we were intending for you. So make sure you check it twice and let folks know if it is past its prime - let us know too!
