Sweetwater brewing co. announces KIM JONES’ DEPARTURE

SweetWater Brewing Co. and Kim Jones jointly announce her departure to pursue other endeavors, effective as of December 31, 2015.  Jones joined the company in 2013 as CFO and was later promoted to CEO.

“We appreciate the nearly three years of hard work and effort Kim contributed to SweetWater,” says Freddy Bensch, founder.   “Kim will no doubt excel in her future career pursuits and we wish her the best of luck.”

In January, SweetWater announced the hiring of Paul “PK” Kirbabas to lead all of its commercial (sales and marketing) operations.   Kirbabas is an industry veteran — currently in charge of beer sales administration at United Distributors, where he began his career nearly 30 years ago as the company’s first beer-focused employee.  Kirbabas joins the SweetWater team on Monday, February 29.
